Bespoke Orangeries and Conservatories in Oxfordshire

Kingsholme designs, manufactures and installs individually designed timber orangeries and conservatories for homeowners throughout Oxfordshire. Whether you are considering a traditional conservatory, a substantial orangery or a contemporary glazed extension, we can create a design suited to your property and the way you want to use the space.

Every project is developed around the proportions and architectural character of the existing house. Detailed drawings and 3D CAD views allow you to understand the proposed appearance, layout and relationship with the garden before manufacture begins.

Our timber structures, windows, doors and roof lanterns are made to order at our workshop in Studham. We can also manage the complete project, including the necessary approvals, construction, installation and agreed finishing work.

Designed for Your Home

Every orangery is designed around the architecture of the
original house, the surrounding garden and the way you want

Timber Orangeries for Oxfordshire Homes

Timber gives us the flexibility to design an orangery that complements both traditional and contemporary properties. The window proportions, glazing bars, doors, roof lantern, colours and decorative details can all be tailored to the architecture of the house.

Every timber orangery is made to order using durable hardwood and Accoya. Combining traditional joinery with modern glazing and construction methods allows us to create a refined, comfortable extension intended for year-round use.

Detailed drawings and 3D CAD views help you understand how the proposed orangery will look before manufacture begins.

A Personal Service for Oxfordshire Homeowners

As a small, independent company, Kingsholme provides direct communication throughout the design and construction process. Your project is not passed between separate sales, design and installation departments.

We can manage the complete process, from the initial consultation and 3D design through planning, Building Regulations, construction, installation and the agreed finishing work.

Keeping responsibility with one experienced team makes the process clearer for the homeowner while giving us close control over workmanship and architectural detail.

Traditional Timber Roof Lanterns

A timber roof lantern introduces natural light from above while creating a distinctive architectural feature within an extension. It can form part of a complete Kingsholme orangery or be supplied for a suitable new extension or replacement project.

Each lantern is made to measure, allowing its size, proportions, glazing arrangement, paint colour and decorative details to be tailored to the room and property.

Our lanterns combine carefully detailed timber internally with durable, low-maintenance external components. High-performance solar-control glazing can also help manage heat gain and glare.
