The projection on the left forms part of the original kitchen. This left an obvious space on the right in which to build the conservatory, but raised the issue of how to make the roof work both technically and aesthetically. The customers opted for a "P-shaped" conservatory, with the lean-to section following exactly the same pitch as the tiled roof. This allowed the line of the tiled roof to follow across onto the conservatory roof.

Matching brick and lead work, equal sightlines, glass roof, underfloor heating are all fitted.
