This conservatory was built on 6 metre (20foot) piles! The whole estate was built on suspect ground (see news article) with many houses having to be under-pinned. Our clients recognised that building a conservatory on such suspect ground using standard strip footings was likely to cause future problems, so opted to invest in the correct type of foundations. A decision that has been vindicated by ongoing problems with other properties in the area since the conservatory was finished four years ago.

A flat leaded roof with recess spotlights adds to the character, as does the two-tone colour; white externally, gardenia internally.
