Planning restrictions meant that the building could not impinge on a 45 degree line of sight from the neighbour's property on the left hand side of the photos. We came up with the above design which blends in perfectly with the original building.

The area with the tiled roof links the main conservatory to the kitchen. Both the roof on this section and the rear of the conservatory were cut into the existing bungalow. The garden was landscaped and paved using the increasing popular Indian Sandstone.

The proximity of Oak trees meant 2-metre strip foundations were required, as was a beam and block concrete floor.
