Opening up the kitchen into the new conservatory was going to mean losing the utility area, so we built a new one on the side. The roof styles of both the conservatory and extension blend in with the hips and valleys on the rest of the building. The roof pitches of the glass and tiled roofs marry up perfectly, as does the brickwork and render feature.

We laid a new patio and pathway, re-fitted the kitchen units and boiler in the new utility area, and laid a new timber floor throughout.
