The clients opted for a brick parapet rather than a timber fascia on this orangery kitchen extension. It is in keeping with the style and proportions of the main house, although the photos taken through the rain don’t do it justice!
Glulam beams were used to span the ten metre width and create the opening for the hardwood lantern. A new steel was inserted and an opening from the kitchen created allowing new and old ceilings to run flush.
