The view over the open fields at the rear of the property meant this was an ideal location to build a conservatory. The subtle colour of the timberwork provides an attractive frame to the vista and blends in well with the main building.

Although fully south-facing, the conservatory is kept cool by the latest solar control glass, which has been used in both roof and windows. As the conservatory is open to the kitchen, it is required to be used all year round. Building control approval was gained for this opening.
